The Akademi organized Festival of Khayal (traditional theatre of Rajasthan) ‘Khayal Samaroh’ in collaboration with Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi at Jainarain Vyas Memorial Hall, Jodhpur from 10 to 13 August 2008. The Samaroh comprised eight performances of Kuchamani and two of Shekhawati Khayal on four evenings and interaction sessions with artists and experts on the mornings of 11, 12, 13 August 2008.
